    My First Flake!

    No, not the choccy bar now advertised Joss Stone. On Tuesday, I had my very first experience of a photographer flaking on me, 110%! He was meant to come by my house to pick me up to go to a location in Brighton to shoot for a project of his. The time he was due came..... and went..... and I still haven't had so much as a text, email or call to let me know what happened. Perhaps he has a good reason, in which case fair enough. But if he hasn't then what an incredibley rude little man! Ah well, these things happen I suppose.

    Enjoying this lovely weather, although my flat is like a bloody oven, being in the attic. Even with all the windows flung wide open, I'm still melting. But I guess that's why I live so close to the beach; so I don't have to sit in a boiling flat when the sun shines. Let's just hope it lasts. Until about the end of September would be grand!

    Oh and a comment I made about the crisis in Burma was printed in the Metro - fame at last hehe!

    Over the last 3 - 4 weeks I have had 3 models flake on me :(
    Luckily I have been able to replace them by offering last minute TFP shoots - but it's so damn rude and annoying...

    sadly this industry is full of flakes and no shows

    the only way to get around this is to name and shame them... so that other people in turn don't waste their time with these people...

    What really gets me though, is he's a relatively well known name, had a book printed, had pics used in big magazines. Perhaps this was his way of saying 'actually I don't want to shoot you'..... He's logged onto MM and read my message asking what happened, so it's a blatant ignoring of me.

    After working with you a couple of times I can say with total confidence that he has missed an opportunity to work with an excellent model.

    Looking forward to working with you again soon (especially as I've just upgraded to a D2X!!!!)
